More than a legal obligation, accounting is a way of obtaining relevant information about your company. In an increasingly competitive market, knowing how to define your break-even points, margins and profitability is crucial. A well-aligned managerial accounting gives you such information.
Mapping the current processes in an organization and how to improve them or the activities required for a project are the object of business analysis. The changes pointed out can improve the company's efficiency or reduce software deployment and development costs, bridging the gap between developers and the administration.
Auditing is the activity of examining the internal processes and reports generated by the organization in order to verify their compliance and attest to their accuracy. It can be both internal, when headed by a specific sector for this purpose, and external, when independent auditors are hired for this purpose.
Forensic Accountant
The purpose of the forensic accountant is to produce evidence in the judicial, extrajudicial and arbitral scope through the analysis of documentation and carrying out due diligence using technical and scientific procedures. Such evidence is used by the court or arbitrator to clarify controversial points and make informed decisions.
Legal Technical Assistance
Just like forensic accounting, the legal technical assistance also deals with the analysis of documentation and production of reports using technical and scientific procedures. Its main difference is that, while forensic accounting's goal is to aid the court or arbitrator, the legal technical assistance is a tool used by the parties in order to better support their demands and analysis of technical points.
About me
Multilingual business analyst with IT background working in ERP development, data security best practices and client-based solutions for over 10 years. Holds a MBA and also Bachelor's Degrees in Information Systems and in Accounting. As business analyst, seeks to employ project management skills on new, challenging projects in order to fulfill and exceed the stakeholders' expectations. In current role, helped develop the accounting module of the ERP system and its integrations.
Also certified accountant, auditor and forensic accountant in Brazil with experience in industrial accounting, having more than 15 years of office experience, budget control and ERP usage. As accountant, seeks to employ data analysis skills to better inform senior management of opportunities to improve cost efficiency. In current role, has put in place internal controls that eliminated long lasting issues that have cost tens of thousands of dollars in fines in previous years.
